Very similar experience to Tim's review. Great pizza, only took 15 minutes from ordering to collecting the pizza. The fries are also really nice. Would have been 5 stars if the staff on the counter had been a bit more friendly and welcoming. I'm pretty sure this place is run by the same folks that run Karvanis Pizza in Woodlesford as the menus are practically identical. Nice thing with Pizza Max is that they accept card payments (on orders £10+) unlike Karvanis.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the pizza (second best in Leeds) or the burgers (meaty with lovely sauces) and the prices are pretty reasonable too so why 4 stars and not 5? Well it's about that feel whern you walk into a place, some places just feel sort of warm and welcoming but Pizza Max didn't. No smiles, no interaction, probably no return visit.
